The staff was incredibly friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean, making it a comfortable stay for me and my 16-pound Havanese dog, Jack Daniels. the oversized room and bathroom, possibly ADA compliant, provided ample space for both of us. the gentleman, Derrick Benson, at the front desk stood out with his exceptional service and deserves recognition for his exemplary customer service skills. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with a uniquely pressured Kohler showerhead for an invigorating shower experience. the variety of channels on the TV and excellent picture quality enhanced my downtime at the hotel. In the mornings, the complimentary Express Start breakfast offered a delightful rotation of delicious options, including pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage patties. For fellow travelers, the hotel's convenient location with easy access to gas stations and restaurants makes it a perfect midway stop on a journey. the newly updated 24-hour fitness center was a great amenity, allowing me to stay active even while on the road. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of the lobby, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring nearby attractions like Lake Gaston and Medoc Mountain State Park. Overall, my experience at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Roanoke Rapids was delightful, thanks to the friendly staff, comfortable amenities, and convenient location.
